One click, seven sources of ideas
For every problem, three TRIZ tools run (contradiction matrix, physical contradiction, the 76 standard solutions) — plus proposals from your own patents, from third-party patents, from solutions to similar problems your company already solved, and from current scientific research. Everything with its source. If nothing fits, the column stays empty: never forced.
Science as a source of ideas
The idea assistant also draws on current scientific publications: matching approaches from research appear against your problem — with source and DOI. Novel solution paths come from the lab straight into your network, without you searching through journals yourself.

From the network structure inventMAP derives the technical contradiction and proposes the matching inventive principles — explained in plain terms, with the actual parameters of your problem.
Talk to your network
Discuss problems and ideas with Uncle Gee, the app's companion, who knows your entire network — the project context, every node, the weightings. He questions Socratically, names the biggest levers and the blind spots, and suggests fitting TRIZ tools — like a colleague in the workshop who has the method in his head. Voice control (ask out loud, have answers read back) is in preparation — on our own European infrastructure; your voice will never leave it.
Keeping the network clean
Merge duplicate nodes and parameters, find loose ends, propose missing links — the AI suggests, you decide point by point, everything reversible.

Results from foresight and patent analysis land in the network as nodes — and from a third-party patent you start a methodical design-around with one click.
A discussion becomes knowledge
Upload the minutes of a meeting or workshop — inventMAP pulls out the problems, causes and solutions that were discussed and proposes them as network nodes. You confirm each one; nothing is forced. Requirements become solutions
Of the customer requirements, those not yet met or still open move straight into the network — as problems the team works on deliberately. No open requirement slips through, and each one gets a visible path to a solution.
Every thought stays documented
Workshop discussions, trains of thought and solution paths take shape directly in the network — and stay traceable. Two months later you can still see how an idea came about and, where needed, who was involved and how. Development becomes a record you can rely on instead of knowledge lost on a flipchart.
The most honest D-FMEA — straight from the network
Failure causes, problems and improvements are already in the network. The D-FMEA derives from them: it feeds on real engineering work rather than a separate, tidied-up document. There is no more honest source than what you have already thought through — right up to an audit-proof release.
